SWAIR-designs was born in 2018 some 35,000 feet above the earth. For years I had been living between Germany and the West of Ireland. It was during these regular flights, that I began sketching my first designs for modern traditional jewellery. My time abroad led to a greater appreciation of my Irish heritage and the beauty of Connemara.
The digital world offers the opportunity to merge traditional craft with modern production methods.
