Together, as a group of Galway entrepreneurs we began a journey to find a new way to connect buyers and sellers of goods and services in our community. Collectively we worked through how this would look and work, and we cocreated Umbrella Eile.
A social enterprise connecting and supporting independent traders and small business owners. A commitment to use all profits to support local enterprise and trade in our community.
Then a global pandemic happenedso we regrouped and collaborated, and found that our new enterprise is right on time. Trade is essential, and now more than ever we realise how we rely on local enterprise in so many ways.
For now we are going to connect you as a local independant trader, a business owner or a community organisation to each other and to your customers. We will support you through these challenging times and be there to see you flourish on the other side.
