For some of us who want to have the freedom of being our own boss, situations such as being a single parent, having health challenges, living in direct provision, our socio-economic background, coming from a minority group, feeling age is holding us back and many more, can be overwhelming.
Umbrella Eile is here to support all Galway based enterprise. This includes independent traders and small business owners, new and existing.
This community focused social enterprise was set up out of a need to connect small local entrepreneurs so that we could support each other. We understand these barriers because we have experienced many of them.
