A painting of an old avenue which runs left off Barna Woods carpark. The ground level of the forest is much higher thus amplifying the effect of light and shadow. It is rather splendid to traverse such an avenue, walled away from the world in such quiet, peaceful isolation, rich in oxygen and diverse in plant life.
