These Heart stones measure  approx 3cm x 3 cm with .5cm depth  and is threaded with a waxed cotton cord and silver or bronze bead. 

On the West Coast of Ireland along the Atlantic Seaboard are twelve mountains that are steeped in myth and mystery. In the heart of those  are the green marble quarries which produce the renowned, distinctive, green Connemara marble.

Connemara marble is one of the rarest marbles in the world and is found exclusively in the West of Ireland. It is becoming increasingly rare. The world's finest truly green marble, it varies in colour from silver grey, pale green, shades of sage and moss to a deep variegated dark green. 

As each and every heart stone varies in colour from pale to dark greens with veins or mottled shades etc .. you will not necessarily be receiving the one pictured here but a close approximation and they are all so beautiful in their difference.
