The painting is a familiar Galway scene taken from the side of Jury's hotel looking up the river Corrib. Your eye travels along the pink and blue reflections on the water, past the apartment block, on past the Bridge Mills and it’s riverbank, through the bridge arches eventually coming to rest on Galway Cathedral.
